BURT crane & rigging traces their history back five generations to 1870 in the slate quarries on the Vermont - New York area. Through the work of our great grandfather and father, the family reputation grew steadily through the Northeast. Known for our efficient project completion, stellar safety records, and superb staff members, BURT crane & rigging officially incorporated in 1974 and is now a globally recognized force in the industry.
Still family operated today, Bridget Hubal and Thomas Scheib purchased the company from their father in 2011. They have continued to strive for the same professionalism and quality of service that generations before had developed. With each project, staff are committed to quality assurance; from the start to planning projects and utilizing in-house proprietary software to finishing projects on time and delivering formal questionnaires. In 2014, BURT crane & rigging received certification as a New York State Woman Owned Business Enterprise.
